The World.The 1st opening of the anime of Death Note.And it was a wise choice definitely putting that song as the opening.Just look at the lyrics,
'In the spreading darkness,I made a vow to the revolution'
Raito's lifelong ambition,but it was in the evil.But it somehow was able to relate dearly to the story.

'An evil flower that sprouted from love'
The cause of multiple innocent deaths,just because of the love of this world.

'It's an ''ending'' everyone desires'
'It's a ''paradise'' everyone's dreamed of'
Everyone ever wanted this,but he had to suffer because of this.Was it worth it?

Of cuz,as everyone knows.The story of Death Note has double protaganists.Basically, L ,whom i shall not put his real name here in case others who dont know scold me for telling them.And Raito Yagami,or in layman terms,Light Yagami.
Everyone loves L,be it his weird comments,his funny reactions or his amazingly low rate of accuracy.That of cuz is true for the start of this manga.Light is the mouse that L the cat is hunting down for.Nobody really likes Light much although he's supposed to be the best in everything.Because he's described in one word : Evil

BOOM.

L died.

The news that shocked half the universe who were reading the manga of Death Note.How,can Light Yagami,ever win this battle.I thought good guys always prevailed?

Maybe...thats because Light is also a good guy?
As the axis of the storyline turned,we're introduced to 2 small little kids.Mello.and Near.
When Near appeared,it was basically the end of the fun of Death Note.Because it always appeared such that Near was god.
Why?
Compare L and Near.
L caught Light due to his incomparable high intellect.He made guesses,he set traps,he put himself in the action.He did everything his life was worth.
But Near?
Near got close to Light,all thanks to his amazingly inferences.It's really as though he was god.He could have guessed every single thought in Light's brain.He could make empty inferences out of the air sandcastle that he had built and the sandcastle ALWAYS turned out to be solid.
As i looked back at the last episode of the Death Note anime,Light is such a noble guy.He may be crazy,he may be mad,he may have been a real bad boy.He may have been
EVIL.
But that dosen't account for all the things he had ever done.He have turned the world into one that crime rate was absurdly low.He had changed the way people had ever dared to bully the weak.He had done practically everything a clergyman,a monk or imam would have wished for.
Look at his speech.
'When i got this notebook,I knew i had to do it...NO! I knew ONLY I could have done it!'
'Anyone else would have been too scared to carry on,but i had the power to change this world.'
Why do all good guys have to die.Why do the riciculously stupid have the power to make exact inferences.

Somehow,until the end.Maybe,one would find it hard to actually compare Light and L ever again.
Both of these geniuses.Had to live on with the lone in their hearts that only each of them knew.

If you were both existent,here's a salute for both of you.
If Near,you were existent,here's a big fat piece of Siva for you to eat on and rot your teeth.
